Trinity is a non-denominational Bible based Community Church. Where Faith and Fellowship come together, And where God's family is strengthened. PURPOSE: To seek out the lost for CHRIST. MISSION: With the intent and biblical purpose of reaching the “Lost” for Christ. The mission of TCC is: To walk in step with the person of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16) in humble obedience to the fulfilling of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) which Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to go and do. Sharing with all peoples the message of the gift of salvation, that comes only through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, being born again as a new creation (John 3:3, 14:6, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:4-9). To raise up holy men and women for service in God’s kingdom, and to continue the growth of God’s Church both spiritually and physically in our homes, community, and world (Acts 1:8) This statement being summed up based on Ephesians 4 as follows : 1. To become one in unity in the Name of Christ 2. Equip members to serve in the Name of Christ 3. Develop leaders in the Name of Christ FAITH STATEMENT: This Church acknowledges as it sole Head, Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the only Savior of man. It acknowledges as brothers and sisters in Christ all who share in this confession. It holds to the inerrancy of God’s Word in the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16), and to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, to prosper His creative and redemptive work in the world (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8). It claims as its own the faith of the historic Church expressed in the ancient creeds and reclaimed in the basic insights of the Protestant Reformers. It affirms the responsibility of the Church in each generation to make this faith its own. In accordance with the teaching of our Lord and the practice prevailing among evangelical Christians, it recognized two Sacraments: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion.
The Apostles’ Creed is regarded as fitting and useful expression of this faith. |
